Hooray its Tuesday!!!

Today is Tuesday 17th September and that is a very special little boys Birthday!

My little man is 2 today!!! Hooray!!! Happy Birthday Rocstar x

He really is the most amazing little boy in the whole wide world and i am the luckiest mummy ever!!

Sunday was the Party day and boy did Honey and Rocco have fun!!!

It was a rainy September 15th - which is the first rainy bday we've had (sad face) but the weather  held nicely in the right bits!!!

We had a Mickey and Minnie themed party! Rocco loves Mickey! he isn't really into much else no it was a no brainer to go for the theme!!! The main cakes are from Simply Cakes in Weybridge! Nick was questioning me on having two cakes - but if Honey and Rocco were born 6 months apart they wouldn't share a cake so why should they if they are only a day apart??!! Exactly!!!

Our amazing Mickey and Minnie balloons were from Jo-ann at Balloons Only.  She is amazing and always provides the best balloons!!!!

Honey loves and i mean loves the Ice Cream van!!!! Sooooooo i booked one for her party!!!! For the last 2 weeks i've been telling her that all the Ice Cream vans have gone to bed now as its cold out and no children go to the park!! (mean mummy) - but her face when she heard the Ice Cream Van coming up the drive was the best face i'd ever seen!!!

The children absolutely loved it!!! One little boy was like "wow Honey has her own real life Ice Cream Van at her own house!!!" brilliant!!!!

No Mickey and Minnie Mouse party is complete without dum dum dum ........

Simply WOW !!!!!! Honey said "its my birthday i can't believe you comed" and Sienna said "mummy, honey and my wish came true" absolutely melted our hearts!!!! Honeys friend Ben from Nursery was absolutely mesmerised by them!!! He just couldn't get enough of them!!! Its what little dreams are made off!!! So cute!!!

So whats a party if you don't have cupcakes??????

Sacha at Mabels Vintage Tea literally blew the ball out of the park with these amazing cupcakes!!!! Each cupcake topper was hand painted and when i say they are amazing they were!! but what was  more amazing was the taste!!!! The chocolate cupcakes were pretty damn special!!!!!!

Our girls are amazing!!!! And i do think Honey and Rocco had the best party ever!!!!!! It was all their favourite things and mine haha!!!!

So Happy Tuesday and Happy Birthday the most magical boy in the world

My Hubbies Bday!!

Its my wonderful husbands 34th birthday tomorrow!!! Hip Hip Hooray!!!

We had a lovely bar b q yesterday with lots of friends and family!! I think Mr T might have a small hangover but i cant be sure so i'll just shout in his ear to check ........... yep he's defo got one!!

Nick "arranged" the bar b q - by arrange i mean he invited everyone and i was left to sort haha!

A friend of mine does the most amazing cupcakes!!!! I mean amazing and we got our wires crossed and she has a big vintage fair to do this weekend so is unable to make Nicks! However she will be making Honey and Rocco's birthday cupcakes!!! Can't wait to show you pictures! If you do need any cakes/cupcakes and i mean they are pretty special then Sacha is your girl!!! mabels vintage tea.

These are for the Children!! How super cool are they!!!

Anyway back to today - so on Monday night i spoke to Sacha and we had a mild panic about cakes for Nick and i was like oh i'll sort something.  So i quickly text Leeanne and tried to trick her into a making a cake for me but she said if i bake the cake she would ice it - mmmm nice try Lee - icing is the best bit hahaha!!!

So i was going to make a Golf cupcake cake like this that i made for a friends birthday

But to be honest i just couldn't be bothered with baking and icing when i had a million other things to do! And i'm a perfectionist so if it wasn't amazing i wouldn't be happy!!!

I had a look around the internet at cakes etc.... and then i came across this ....

A Krispy Kreme Tower cake!!!! How amazing on numerous counts!!!
Firstly - No Baking
Secondly - No icing
Thirdly - No plates needed
Fourthly - No Cleaning up
Fifthly - They taste amazing!!!!!!

So here is my attempt at Nicks cake - it was the yummiest cake i ever have eaten!!!

Lee and I drove to the Krispy Kreme Drive Through on Friday night about 11pm to get them hot of the belt!!! We even got a free one each! Yummm !!! Nicks cake was made from 61 Krispy Kreme's - i ate 4 my brother ate 7!!!!!! Well diets aren't for Birthdays!!

Everybody at the party loved it and i didn't feel guilty about not baking it myself.  The moral of the day - Its the thought that counts! Happy Sunday
