So anyway on with Fashion Friday! Keeping with the christmas theme, there isn't anything more christmassy for an outfit really than a Red dress! So i thought i would share some red dresses available at the moment that you can wear anytime in the run up to Christmas day!

These are all easy to wear and loose fitting (for the christmas calories) you can wear everyday! Add a cardigan and some tights and your good to go!

Snow Holiday!

Tomorrow i am going to Finland for a few days for a girly weekend with my Mum, Sister in law, Sue and Joey - its for my mums 70th!

Jo-anns husband is Finnish and they have a house on the lake so we are going to relax, eat and be merry oh and shop haha!

Well i've never been to Finland but apparently its freezing!!!!!!! Like we are talking minus figures!!!

So here are some tips on keeping warm but still looking cool hahaha

Normally i wear tights under my jeans if i'm cold as they keep my legs warm but not so much that i look like the michelin man! It is all about layering!!!!

Tesco has some great thermals in stock at the moment and so cheap!!! www.clothingattesco.com/thermal - twin pack of thermal long sleeve tops for £7!! You can not go wrong!! They also have some fab mens bits too! Great stocking fillers!

Ok so you still want to look like you!!! So thats why a thermal top under your normal dress or jumper will really work! I know this all sounds really obvious but i sometimes dress a bit "old lady" when i'm cold because i hate it so much! like i don't wear my dresses that i normally wear as i think i'll be too cold! But i with a top underneath and some thermal tights! Yes you read correctly the wonderful Marks and Spencers now do Thermal Tights!!!!!!

So then with a nice parka on top from my Parky post with any boots you own and how about buying the Hunter welly socks and pop them in!!!

www.hunter-boot.com from £18 for plain black

and then all you need is hat scarve and gloves!

www.kurtgeiger.com £30 - my friend Dilly bought this on a recent shopping trip and it looks lovely on!!! Really warm too!!! They do a matching scarve but if you don't have the longest arms in the world then it won't work haha!

www.reiss.com £69 - love a bit of leopard and these gloves look fab!!!

www.frenchconnection.com £50 - a blue sequin snood! I'm all about a snood - pop it over head and thats where it stays haha! No falling off or getting it caught etc! Its child friendly!!!

I wish you all a fabulous weekend

Wardrobe staple: A classic Trench Coat

The classic beige trench coat looks good on everyone! Women, Men, Children, Big peeps, Small Peeps all shapes and sizes a trench coat suits everyone!

You can wear it with workwear ,weekend wear, with a dress or with jeans and converse it really is super duper versatile!

I used to have a lovely one from Zara but i wore to its death and all the buttons went to button heaven and the pockets gave up holding onto anything anymore! I really loved that coat!

The king of the trench coat has to be Burberry (we are not sponsored by Burberry this week just so you know) but at a hefty £1095.00 it sadly won't be making an appearance in my wardrobe anytime soon!

So here are some more purse friendly options available on the high street and online!

Hope you have a fab Friday, I'm off to Jades with my family for the weekend as our friend Kim is visiting us! Can't wait for lots of family and friend fun!

See you tomorrow for Scrumptious Saturday!

Blazer: a wardrobe staple

A blazer is something that every wardrobe should own, male or female. Its the one staple piece that can be thrown on over practically anything and change the whole look instantly! Even the most basic looking jeans and t shirt can be transformed into a structured and stylish outfit just by adding a blazer!

The good thing about a blazer is it will last though all seasons! The same jacket can be worn over a summer dress and then over jeans boots and a jumper come winter. If you want a blazer that will be really versatile i would suggest buying one in a plain colour, but if you want something a bit more fun there are some gorgeous prints around at the moment.

Heres some of my fave blazers currently on the high street at the moment!

Hope you like

Love
L xx
