11-12-13 - Hubby Christmas

Today is 11 - 12 - 13 yippee how cool is that! And what a cool birthday to be born on - so to all mummy's having babies today - good luck xxx

Its Wednesday which means Present ideas!!!

So i've done all of my Christmas Shopping except for Nick!!! I find him really hard to buy for - so heres my top 10 list of presents for husbands hope theres some good tips for you!!

1. Golf Lessons - Nick is golf obsessed at the moment! So i think it would be nice for him to get some time out practicing and getting some tips from a pro!

2.  Clothes - Nick loves clothes so i was thinking about getting him a really nice jumper, he's mentioned a few bits in Abercrombie that he likes but i love this from Lyle and Scott £90 www.lyleandscott.com

3. Mousemat - I thought i would get Nick a mousemat with an up to date picture of the children on for his desk at work! Vistaprint do them for something silly like £4

4. Shoes - You can't go wrong with shoes - either going out, work or new Converse! Always a great mens gift in my opinion!!

5. Wall Calendar - I really like the idea (i hope he's not reading this and any friends of Nicks don't tell him!) but i like the idea of a wall calendar - but once month at the weekend setting aside a saturday or sunday for Nick to play golf! - So this idea basically costs nothing but it means i won't plan for us to do things on those weekends as they are a present to nick! And i might throw in a couple of vouchers for a round of golf too! - This is £22 from www.notonthehighstreet.com - Nice to do with Nicks friends wives too so they all get to play! maybe not once month but atleast a  couple of times they have a day arranged without having to ask us wife's for a golf pass haha!

6. Chocolate or Wine - Nick has specifically asked for a selection box in his stocking so thats easy!! But he also loves red wine - so maybe a nice bottle of vino! He also has started drinking scotch like an old man so i was thinking of something along those lines with a nice scotch crystal glass!

7. Its cold on the commute to town and a nice new scarf is always welcomed!!! Along with pants and socks haha! I really like this Ted Baker scarf £49 www.tedbaker.com

8. A Massage!!! I know most women don't think about getting their men massage's but i think its a nice treat! A time out from work and family! A bit of a relax and pamper for them is just what the Doctor ordered! There are so many deals on Groupon!!!

9. A new wallet or man bag - Nicks wallet he's had for 6 years now and he deco needs a new one! I love Paul Smith wallets! Prada and Gucci do lovely wallets to and they are miles cheaper at Bicester Village! They last for ages and they are a really lovely present!!!

10. Number 10 - so many choices from golf clothes, blazer, shirts, aftershave, kiehls moisturizer  etc but i'm going to go with ……. da da daaaaaa - Magazine subscription! no shock its going to be Golf haha - I think Nick would really enjoy reading a golf magazine once a month on the train - with tips and new products etc…. there are so many different magazines out there with loads of good deals!! Its the gift that keeps on giving!!!

Happy shopping for the man in your life

Bored reach for the Board Games

Hola! Can you believe tomorrow is the 11 12 13 - haha i love things like that!!!

Its Honey's nativity today! I am so excited! She is an Angel - i just know she will be fabulous!! Then tomorrow is her christmas party and then thats it - schools out until January!!!

So i've tried to get some bits in the diary to keep us all entertained!

Including:

Snow White on Ice
Father Christmas
Pantomime
Cinema to see Frozen

But i needed some new things to keep Honey entertained at home!!! Whilst in Milan i saw Tom and Jerry pop up pirate! It was something like £8 and when we got home and settled i put it on the floor in the kitchen and played some bells on my phone and pretended it was an Elf delivering a gift as Honey had been so good for my mum and Leeanne at the weekend.

Honey absolutely loves it! Keeps her entertained and its not a long game and even Rocco likes it! So i was going to safe it for Christmas but in all honesty how many games will she play Christmas day?? so i'm all for december presents haha!

I also ordered this from ELC www.elc.co.uk its was £9.99 - i am saving it for Honeys stocking but it looks so much fun!!!

ELC are doing some great discounts at the moment!!! really good presents!!! If you need children's gifts you must look there as there are some bargains to be had!!

Another great game for 3-5 year olds is snap! With ordinary playing cards! Honey is so good at her numbers now and so quick with them all thanks to cards! Great for adding up and matching numbers! Learning when they think they are playing is the key !!!

Honeys fave ever game though is still Odd Socks from ELC! www.elc.co.uk £12

This games is amazing for colors, shapes - Honey plays this every day with my mum and its just brilliant!! A must have for game lovers!!

If your children love certain games please let me know as we love board games!

oh and before i forget - Monopoly Junior Party is a fab game too!!!

If you don't like annoying noise Do Not i repeat Do Not buy Hungry Hippos haha i've hidden the balls for my own sanity!!!!

Happy Tuesday and Happy Board Game day!!!

Making Time

So last Mummy Monday we talked about looking after our minds by taking up a course and this week we are going to talk about looking after our bodies! No diet talk though cause its christmas and your just a crazy person if you can diet over crimbo! (no offence to the crazy people we are only jealous really).

I don't know about anyone else but when the cold weather rolls around we just feel a bit blurgh!

The healthy eating stops and all we want is stodge, our days are so busy at the moment we make very little effort with things like painting our nails, shaving our legs etc we can't be bothered to go to the gym, basically we just go to ruin!

Tell us we are not alone please!!

We are so wrapped up in the kids and work and making christmas super magical that we forget about looking after ourselves!

So we are making a pact! A pact to make sure we take a little time for ourselves. To visit the hairdressers. To make time to have our eyebrows done, to take time to paint our nails, to take 5 mins to fake tan! To take a little time to just make the effect to do the things that make you feel better about yourself.

We all say we have no time but we do really we just have to make the effort to find the time, and if we make the effort we will feel so much better about ourselves! Don't loose your mummy sparkle in all the christmas sparkle.

Who's in on the pact with us?

Have a fab Monday everyone!
