I am a little bit of a collector (not hoarder) haha!

I love collecting things for my children that i think one day in the future will be worth more than today! My mum collected lots for me and i love passing things down.

The Royal Mint is one of my favourite online shops for collecting! I bought Honey and Rocco the Kate and Will Engagement £5 coin, the wedding £5 coin, Prince George coin, and i've just pre ordered the Christening Coin for them both!

Whilst on the site i came across this fun present!

Its a 50p hunting book!! So the aim is to collect all the different 50p's in circulation! I love this!! I've ordered a few for stocking fillers for my niece and godson who are 8 and 9 as i think they will love this!

They also do a £1 collector album and £2 coin one too! Such a fun idea!

Hasselback - not Hoff but Potatoes haha

We love Carbs and we love potatoes the most!! mmmm maybe joint most with bread and pasta but its up there haha!

How cool do these look

Honey isn't a big jacket potato fan but she does love a chip! and these are the best of both worlds!

This recipe is from Saturday Kitchen by Antony Worrall Thompson

Ingredients

• 6 medium roasting potatoes
• 3 tbsp butter, melted
• lemon-pepper and salt to taste
• large handful parmesan cheese, grated
• 2 tbsp dry breadcrumbs

Preparation method

1. Preheat the oven to 220C/430F/Gas 7.
2. Either peel the potatoes or leave the peel on and scrub well.
3. Make small slices ¾ of the way through each potato, all along it (if the potato is placed in a large spoon the edges of the spoon will prevent you from slicing clear through the potato).
4. Place potatoes in a greased baking dish. Brush surface of the potato with melted butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
5. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
7. Return to the oven and continue baking for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender and crust is slightly browned. Serve immediately.
   
   
   Super simple and super effective!!! You can also add bacon on top, cheese, sour cream.  I think this is a perfect lunch date meal! I will defo be cooking for my next girls lunch

To cleanse or not to cleanse that is the question!

Good Morning Magic Friends

I hope you are having wonderful Sundays! I am writing this on Thursday night as i am at a very good friends Hen Doo on Saturday night and i imagine whilst you are reading this i am either still asleep or feeling less than par to say the least!!!

As you know we recently went to Belfast for a girl weekend.  One of the best things about going away is definitely the Duty Free shopping and seeing as i was child free i kinda went a bit crazy!

I have never really been a Clarins fan eeek am I  allowed to say that out loud? 

I do however love love the Daily Energizer Cream Gel - which i had to re-purchase as i had finished my first pot! (Lee blogged about this a few weeks ago) Its such a fantastic moisturiser!

Whilst i was in the Clarins section i saw this fabulous little travel set! 

Please don't shout at me but i never take my make up off at night nor do i cleanse or tone! So when i saw this One Step Facial Cleanser i thought WOW this sounds good to me! You literally shake the bottle - put some on a cotton wool pad and wipe and leave on - no rinsing required! Like how amazing and easy is that!? 

Another item in the pack is HydroQuench Cream - i've been using this before bed and i really like it!! It feels really nice on my skin and when i wake my skin feel good! 

Also within the set is a Hand and Nail Treatment, Beauty Flash Balm, Moisture Rich Body Lotion and an Eye Contour  (none of which i have yet used but watch this space!)

One Step Cleanser Rocks My World it should be in all Mummy to be / Just had baby packages!! I am now a Clarins Fan!!!!
