Holiday Shopping

Whenever i go to Spain i'm drawn like a magnet to the shops!! La Canada is our local mall and its shopping paradise!!

As this is Toddler Tuesday i thought i'd do a little round up of a couple of the goodies i bought my little stars!

My favourite shops for children in spain are 1. Zara 2. Mayoral and 3. Massimo Dutti, I go to all different stores around Andalucia and love getting all different goodies!!!

These 3 items are from Zara
I love this Burberryesque Mac! Jealous!
I love Zara for the children - the sizes are good and its not expensive and the girls shoes are amazing!!!
(the boys are not so).  I don't think ive ever been in Zara kids and not bought something! Much to Nicks joy!

This Hoody is Zara - I think Rocco will look very cool in it! The shorts are Mayoral and some neon Converse! I love converse x

So Rocco is now climbing out of his cot and so its mission big bed and that means finding new bedding!!!! Hooray!!!! One stop at Zara Home and they are set! I love stars!!! John Lewis were doing a lovely navy and white star bedding set but i think thats a bit grown up for Rocco - Baby Blue as hes my Baby! Mummys Boy Alert!!!

Rocco can't have new bedding and not Honey!!! Honey is still in her Cot Bed but we are going to be buying them both a single bed in this next few weeks so i wanted her to have lovely bedding! Miss Sienna has this bedding too - its so girly and fabulous

We are going to get them both these day beds from Ikea Hemnes Day Bed.  They are £260 each but they are a single, double and got storage so its a win win! They will last them ages! And honestly i couldn't find any other ones i really liked!!!

Holiday shopping is the best shopping!! Airport shopping before holiday is the best shopping!! Childrens bedroom shopping is the best shopping!!!
Shopping is the best! I love Shopping

Sunday Book Club!

Book Club!

I sooooo want to join a book club!!! You know those book clubs with wine and nibbles and white picket fences !! I’ve searched but can’t find one in my area!! Boooo hissssss

I love a good read! I’m not embarrassed about reading chick lit as with 2 children I need something I can pick up and put down every 2 seconds!! You know as soon as I sit down and look comfortable someone wants something!!!

I would love to read long literary greats but alas that’s just not me!!! I do however LOVE Pride and Prejudice its my favourite ever book!!! But its hardly a holiday read!!

So I’m currently in Spain and before I left I saw that Lauren Conrad had bought another trilogy out! Hooray!!! The first 3 LA Candy series I Loved!! I had to wait months for the next one to come out but they were so good!

So when I saw she had The Fame Game trilogy out I thought they would be perfect holiday reads!

So ...................... Hahahaha well the first 6 chapters of the first book is great! But that's as far as I got!  I must of been delusional thinking I would be able to read 1 book let alone 3 whilst having 2 children on my own in Spain! I literally haven't had a moment for myself! Haven't showered, brushed my teeth or been to the toilet without one of my little shadows if not both of them in tow!!

I can't wait to get home and hand them over to my husband so I can finish the books and have a shower solo!!!

If you've read them let me know what you think x

Another of my favourite authors is Paige Toon! If you love an easy read that you cant put down her books are ace!!! These 3 are my fave fave!!!

If anyone in the Surrey area knows of a good book club please let me know!!!!

Swimsuit Revival

Its holiday fever time here at 'a little mummy magic' with our summer hols being literally days away! (Holiday Blues time by the time this post is published)

I remember the conversations when we booked this holiday well, and they probably will sound familiar to you too. 'We have 19 weeks to loose weight' 'we can so do this' 'yeah we will be fabulous and skinny in time for hols' '1lb a week is 19lbs and we only want to loose a stone!'.

Well the weeks have ticked on by and who's lost that last stone?? Not me!! Ive lost a few lbs and put them back on and gone on like this for 18 weeks, and its no ones fault but my own. I just love food too much. At the end of a long day of toddler tantrums and teething babies food is something to look forward too!!

So i could right now be crying into my tub of Ben and Jerrys (any flavour i'm not a fussy fat girl in a crisis) but you know what i'm not!

We mummy's with the tummy's can still look super fabulous on holiday without having to don the dreaded 2 piece bikini! Swimsuits are no longer the drab shapeless speedo's i remember there's styles to suit everyone and i promise they will make you feel far more confident if your anxious about your bikini body.

Here's a fabulous holiday look that can not fail to make you feel like a super yummy mummy!

No More Panda Eyes

Product under review: Lancôme Hypnôse Waterproof Mascara £22

If i were only allowed 1 item of makeup for the rest of my life it would most definitely be mascara! As im sure you know all about our holiday by now but when you go on holiday you NEED a good waterproof mascara! There is nothing worse than panda eyes by the pool... well maybe ageing men in speedos but lets not go there!

Me and Jade managed a mad dash around World Duty Free (aka heaven) at the airport and amongst one of our purchases was Lancôme Hypnôse Waterproof Mascara.

So im going to be totally honest here, if you want amazing super full long lashes than this is not the mascara for you! I know Lancôme say to add more coats for fuller lashes but its too clumpy for my liking. But... if you want a decent mascara for everyday use that WILL NOT smudge than this is brilliant!

Ive been in the pool, bath, shower, cried, rubbed my eyes and even ashamedly slept in this mascara and not once have i ever had panda eyes!

I'd highly recommend this mascara for cry babies like me (yes i do cry at anything!!) as a fab every day mascara. At least you know whatever the day throws at you your mascara will not be running down your face!
