Every Day is A Christmas Dress Day

Hello Friday peeps! Im super excited today as my lovely Jadey and her little peeps are coming for a sleepover! Hope you all have some lovely weekend plans! We are putting the tree up on saturday night ready for Sunday the 1st whoop!

So anyway on with Fashion Friday! Keeping with the christmas theme, there isn't anything more christmassy for an outfit really than a Red dress! So i thought i would share some red dresses available at the moment that you can wear anytime in the run up to Christmas day!

These are all easy to wear and loose fitting (for the christmas calories) you can wear everyday! Add a cardigan and some tights and your good to go!

Have a lovely friday

Christmas Wish List

Good Morning Magic peeps.

Today i thought i'd make a little start on my Christmas Wish List!
Now this isn't my full list and by the time Christmas comes i'm sure lots of things will be off and lots of new things i see on!! But as of Wednesday 30th October this is what i'm asking Santa for.

I love Boux Avenue! I only recently found a shop and i bought the bestest dressing gown ever!
So these PJ's £30 (and they are on buy one get one free hope the candy stripe ones come as my free ones haha) and these slippers £14 are my must have new christmas pj's.

Still my all time favourite foundation! I absolutely love this! Makes my skin feel amazing!

I also need a running jacket and a new outfit and i really like the look of these from H and M

both £34.99 www.hm.com

I do love a book and this one looks fab! Tamara Mellon was the co-founder of Jimmy Choo and this looks like a fab read!
£13.20

This dress looks fabulous! with tights without tights with boots with heels etc!
£69.99 www.zara.com

I love a personalised calender! I make 4 different ones for grandparents/godparents etc and i would really like one for me this year!

I do love a notebook and this one i saw in Urban Outfitters!

Now we have a puppy (more about him on Sunday!) i feel like i need a new pair of wellies!
I'm so undecided on which colour though! I do love these Mint ones £69 but i also love the Red and the pink glitter kids ones £38

Louboutins - my favourite shoe!
I really wanted a pair of these last year but they sold out quick so i'm hoping i'm in luck this year!

Pigalle Patent £395 christianlouboutin.com

And i've decided this is my pick of the parkas i think haha! Well this one if i get red or green wellies and the Green Parka if i get Pink wellies haha!

£205 www.asos.com

All material things aside because realistically there is nothing i really need - i thought i'd put my 3 Genie wishes in here too! (these can't include cures for illnesses or world peace etc just selfish wishes because obv the first two would come top two!)

So if a magical genie gave me 3 wishes i would wish for

1. I wish for my children to always feel happy and loved
2. I wish for Nick and I to be in love and together forever and ever
3. For my family and friends to live long healthy lives

What would your 3 wishes be?

Its getting parky and i need a parka!

I would really like a Parka for this winter! I think i may be putting on on my Christmas Wish List!

The real decision begins when i have to choose which one i want to pick!!!

I think i know which one i like most but its a hard decision! Parka's are such good coats - and to be fair they are good for autumn, winter and spring (and some summer days).  Some can be worn really smart like the Massimo Dutti one and Ted Baker and the others are for those everyday jeans, trainers, perfect days!

If you need a jacket/ coat this winter a Parka is so universal!

Hip Hip Hooray its Friday!!!

Happiest of Weekends to you all

Wedding Guest Fashion

Its another Wedding themed blog here - but Wedding fashion can be such a worry!!!!

To hat or not to hat that is the question!!!

I love a hat!! But i feel they are a little bit dated - there were fascinators a plenty but i decided on just fancy hair!! I went for a french plait side bun like this

If you did want a fascinator or hat Accessorize do some lovely ones!!

There is something magical about dress shopping in general!! I love it!! However like every shopping expedition if you actually need something you can never find it!!! So my top tip is start shopping early!

I bought this from Whistles its was £155 but my thinking was I would wear this dress lots! On holiday in the winter with black tights etc! (to be fair as per yesterdays polaroids you can see i didn't wear it but this was due to unforeseen circumstances haha)
Whistles really do do some lovely dresses! www.whistles.co.uk

This one is in the sale for £70 and i think its wedding guest perfection! They also do it in cobalt blue and grey!

I ended up wearing a black sequin Reiss dress! I know there is a big unwritten rule about not wearing black or obv white to a wedding! However i did ask the bride beforehand and she said it was her favourite colour and of course i could wear it! So hooray!!

This is the dress i wore - its in the sale now (booooo but fab if you like it)

French Connection also always have some fab dresses however i'm always worried with shops like FC, Coast, Ted Baker, Karen Millen etc that someone else will have the same dress on!!!

ASOS has sooooo many dresses that the chances of someone having the same is always low!! I love this dress from there

So all thats left to find is some shoes!!!!

I LOVE a zara shoe!!! And i love this one that i think goes perfectly with all the above dresses!

I love weddings and i love this quote to write in wedding cards!!! William Shakespeare knew exactly what he was talking about!!

Happy Friday

A black skirt

Happy Friday!

Me and Jade are off to visit our lovely friend Kim in Belfast today for the weekend we are super excited!

Anyways todays post... You may or may not have heard of a girly called Olivia Palermo?

If you have heard of her then you probably know what i'm going to say next but if you haven't... The girl can do no fashion wrong!

She is the epitome of style and class, and literally looks faultless all the time (yes we know we hate her too). She's probably my number 1 fashionista!

If your ever stuck for some style inspiration and like to look effortlessly chic just google image her name and you will find thousands of amazing outfits!

I was trying to find a look for this weeks fashion friday that would transition from late summer into autumn/winter and came across this look from Olivia...

I love this look! Its feminine, chic, easy to wear and more importantly, versatile! All the items in this look are things you could easily team with other items in your wardrobe.

Theres no way i would walk around all day in heels but you could wear this look with some ballet pumps and then into the colder weather with some thick tights and boots!

A black skirt is a fab wardrobe staple i didn't realise i was missing! A looser fitting above the knee length is flattering for all heights too!

Here's some similar items to create Olivia's look...

You could wear heels if your feet can take it (i take my hat off to you) but for me with two little ones to run after i dont need to add anymore chance for incidents to my day! I struggle to dodge toys on the floor bare foot never mind in heels. So I would choose these classic pumps from office...

Add some gold wrist wear and your ready to go! Wear with some thick black tights and boots when it's colder and you can carry the look off long into winter!

The black skirt is so easy to wear too and i bet you have lots in your wardrobes you could wear it with! T-shirt and converse, vest top and flip flops, shirt and heels? its super versatile and i think every girls wardrobe should own one.

Blazer: a wardrobe staple

A blazer is something that every wardrobe should own, male or female. Its the one staple piece that can be thrown on over practically anything and change the whole look instantly! Even the most basic looking jeans and t shirt can be transformed into a structured and stylish outfit just by adding a blazer!

The good thing about a blazer is it will last though all seasons! The same jacket can be worn over a summer dress and then over jeans boots and a jumper come winter. If you want a blazer that will be really versatile i would suggest buying one in a plain colour, but if you want something a bit more fun there are some gorgeous prints around at the moment.

Heres some of my fave blazers currently on the high street at the moment!

Hope you like
