1 month Birthday Giveaway!

Yipppeeeeeee We have been blogging every day for over 1 whole month now!

We never ever in our wildest dreams expected to have had as many people visit our blog as we have in the past month so to show our appreciation we thought we would do a little giveaway! We are giving you the chance to win one of our fave products at the moment! A set of 5 EOS Lip Balms! Just follow the instructions below and the winner will be announced on next mondays blog!

EOS or evolution of smooth lip balm are a big hit on the celebrity scene at the moment. Kim kardashian is a big fan and they are even featured in the new Miley Cyrus' music video!

The lip balms are 95% organic and 100% natural, paraben and petroleum free. They are packed with antioxidant rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil. EOS claims to keep your lips soft and sensationally smooth!

We purchased some of these in the strawberry edition and we absolutely love them! I (leeanne) have a scar on my top lip right in the middle and if i dont keep my lip moisturised they dry up really quickly and a layer of skin comes off my lip where the scar is all the time! It hasn't happened once since using this lip balm i love it! It goes on really easily and we love the sphere design. It makes it so much easier to find in your handbag too!

Our girls are also loving them and as they cant twist up the bottom like a lipstick version they cant snap them or dig their fingers in like a tin lip balm! Plus being 100% natural they would make fab little party bag fillers or a perfect present!

In short we love them!

And just to add to the fact Chuck Bass even uses them (ok we know he's really called Ed Westwick but chuck bass is a real person to us) and anything that touches his lips has got to be amazing right??

Good luck in the giveaway everyone!!

Love

July 2013 Glossybox - Seaside Splash

Hey Dolls! Well i promised i would let you know about what was in my Glossyboxes so here is July's box. This is my third Glossybox now and as its summertime (and it really is, whoop sunshine) the usual pink box has been replaced with this gorgeous blue and coral box.

I love the boxes and now i have a few i'm going to start organising my different bits and bobs of the beauty world in them as they are too pretty to throw away!

So whats inside i hear you cry? Well let me show you!

Everything always comes wrapped in lovely tissue paper and tied with ribbon! Its all about the packing!! Every month you also get a leaflet which has Glossybox news and tips in and also gives you a full description of each product in your box and how you should apply it!

So this is July's box. The contents of the boxes will vary from person to person so you really never know what your going to get. I love the surprise!

So lets take a closer look at whats in the box.

Ciaté London Paint pot in Island Hopping £9.00 Full size 13.5ml.
I would never ever pick up this shade in a shop but i absolutley love it on! Its like a corally, pinky, orangey, sparkly red and is really easy to apply!

Coola Organic Suncare Collection Mineral Face SPF20 Rose Essence Tint £29.00 full size 50ml Sample size 7ml
I liked how light this felt and it took no time at all to sink into my skin, the shade is probably a little to light for me at the moment as i have a tan but i will pop this away for later in the year.

Nip+Fab Spot Fix or Shine Fix Full size 15ml £9.95
This looks fab and its a full size sample too! I'm yet to try it as i haven't had any spots yet but i tried a bit on my hand and its lovely, no sticky residue and had a nice tingle to it which makes me think its actually doing something haha

Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist £23.00 full size 125ml
sample size 25ml
I havent had chance to try this product yet either but after finally getting to grips with Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray ill be interested to see how this stacks up against that. Its a nice sized sample too!

Anatomicals Spray Misty for me Spritz £6.00 Full size 100ml
Another full sized sample and wow who doesn't need this at the moment in this heat! Super refreshing although if i am being picky the spray could do with being a bit finer. The raindrop in my eye didn't go down to well (must remember to close eyes)

So thats your lot for July! I'm really happy with this months box lots of things i will use, Perfect!

Did anyone else sign up to Glossybox? Let us know if you got anything different!

Banoffee Pie (my fave)!

Wow i do so love a Banoffee Pie - i would say its my favourite dessert but i think all desserts are my favourite haha!!!

This is an amazing dessert on 3 counts!!

Firstly its so quick to make you can make it within 15 mins and take to bar b q or event!
Secondly its so easy and no baking or boiling so even toddlers can make it
Thirdly it tastes and looks amazing!!!

Ingredients

4 Bananas
300ml Whipped Cream
250g pack of Digestives
1 or 2 cans of Carnation Caramel
100g melted butter
Chocolate to decorate

Firstly crush the biscuits into crumbs - I normally put mine in a ziplock bag and get honey to hit and roll them with a rolling pin! Place the crumbs into a bow and add the melted butter to the biscuits.  Once mixed press onto bottom of a lightly greased 20cm cake tin.  Pop in fridge for 10 mins.

During this 10 mins (which is an eternity for an impatient 3 year old) i get Honey to cut the banana with her special plastic knife!

Take the base out of the fridge and spread the carnation caramel over the base - ive said 1 or 2 cans depending on how caramelly (i know thats not even a word but i like it) you like it! I would then place this in the fridge to harden up!

Then place you banana slices on top of the caramel - try not to leave many gaps.

Spoon the cream on top and then grate some chocolate on top!

Taaaaa Daaaaa !!!! Fool Proof quick and easy dessert!!!

You can also use condensed milk and boil it however with toddlers in the house and a previous burn incident i just try not to over complicate things! It does seem to set better though!  Also you could make these into little ones in fairy cake wrappers and make them in a 6 cake tin for the children!

Hope you all enjoy
Love
